Why should I use BioCair? How is it different from other disinfectant products in the market?
BioCair provides a fast-acting solution to combat airborne and surface germs without the use of any harmful chemicals, effectively killing 99.999% of bacteria, viruses, fungus and spores within 60 seconds of contact Unlike the common disinfectants in the market – which might be marketed as ‘child-safe’ and contain hazardous substances that could lead to accidental poisoning – BioCair products are tested and proven to be non-toxic, non-irritant, alcohol-free and safe for use, even if it is accidentally inhaled or ingested. At the end of the day, safety should always be the first priority when it comes to selecting a good disinfectant product for you and your family.
Is there a difference between cleaning and disinfecting?
Yes, there is a difference. While both play an important role in ensuring safe hygiene levels, routine cleaning only serves to remove dirt and dust particles that are usually visible on surfaces or objects. Disinfection will effectively eliminate any bacteria, viruses, fungus and spores to prevent them from spreading.
Why is it important to disinfect the air?
Disinfecting the air is just as important as surface disinfection. The air that we breathe contains other unseen particles such as bacteria, viruses, fungus and spores. While cleaning can help to reduce germs that have landed on surfaces, germs are still present in the air and may lead to a spread of airborne diseases. Inhaling these harmful contaminants could potentially harm your health in the long run, thus it’s vital to take it a step further by disinfecting the air.
Use the BioCair Dry-Mist Disinfection Machines with our Air Purifying Solution for aerial disinfection, which is formulated to eliminate 99.999% of bacteria, viruses, fungus and spores found in the air.
How does the BC-65 disinfectant solution work?
The BC-65™ solution is able to penetrate the cell wall of pathogens, eliminating them.
Which pathogens has the solution been tested against?
See the table of pathogens on the certification website.
Can BioCair kill COVID-19? Is BioCair tested against COVID-19?
Yes. In November 2021, an independent laboratory tested BioCair against SARS-CoV-2 with the conclusion ‘the disinfectant can be declared active against the virus’. BioCair was proven to be effective against Feline Coronavirus (FCoV), a surrogate for the Coronavirus, in a December 2020 U.K. testing.
CoronaVirus (Coronaviridae) is a large family of enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA viruses that affect people and animals alike. Both SARS and MERS are part of the Coronaviridae family. BioCair is effective against enveloped viruses, and has been tested against pathogens in the most challenging categories and proven effective in independent third-party testing. Our products have been tested extensively in reputable laboratories and healthcare usage settings against enveloped viruses, bacteria, fungus and spores, including bacterial endospores.
Can I use the Air Purifying Solution with my own diffuser or humidifier?
Using the Air Purifying Solution with other devices will not be as effective as using it with BioCair’s Dry-Mist Disinfection Machines. The efficacy of killing 99.999% of the bacteria and germs with the Air Purifying Solution is only tested and certified when used with our machines. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the same effect if the Air Purifying Solution is used with other devices.
Can we turn on the dry-mist disinfection machine when there is a baby in the room?
To achieve the highest level of disinfection, we always recommend a room is vacant during disinfection. We realise that is not always possible, anyone can remain in the room while the disinfectant machine is in operation. The dry mist generated by the machine has been tested in fully accredited independent laboratories to ensure safety and efficacy. It is alcohol-free, non-toxic, pH neutral, and child-safe, which makes it suitable to be used around babies and young children.
What is the difference between the BioActive and the Disinfectant Pocket Spray?
Both Disinfectant (Blue) and BioActive Anti-HFMD (Orange) Pocket Sprays are effective against common bacteria, germs, fungus and spores. The BioActive Anti-HFMD Pocket Spray is different from the Disinfectant as it is also designed to kill HFMD virus and everyday bacteria and germs.
